About Us

Riverside Epoxy Flooring Group is the Inland Empire's trusted team for concrete floor coatings, specializing in full flake garage systems, moisture-mitigating primers, and high-build commercial epoxy. We offer polished concrete and urethane cement kitchen floors.

The Crew That Tests, Grinds and Coats Your Floor

Our team provides in-house diamond grinding and batch mixing, delivering floors that hold up to hot tires for homes and floors that keep a building running for both residential and commercial projects. With 12 years in business and a 2-year workmanship warranty against peeling, delamination and hot-tire pickup, we've completed over 1,187 projects, from a Woodcrest tack room to a two-phase Eastvale warehouse aisle.

From the first calcium chloride test to the cure-time call the night before your cars come back, our team handles every detail. Serving Riverside and neighboring Yorba Linda, Claremont, Diamond Bar and Norco, we put the same faces on your job from the estimate to the walkthrough.

Ray Castellanos

Owner

Ray ran grinders and squeegees for a commercial coatings contractor in the Inland Empire for eight years before he opened Riverside Epoxy Flooring Group 12 years ago. He still reads every moisture test himself and walks each slab before a system is chosen.

Danielle Okafor

Location Manager, Riverside

Danielle runs the Inland schedule from the first slab test to the final walkthrough, covering every Riverside, Woodcrest, El Sobrante, Eastvale and Norco job.

Grant Whitfield

Location Manager, Yorba Linda

Grant covers the Orange County side of the map, booking and running every Yorba Linda, Villa Park and North Tustin job from the site visit to the cure-time handover.

Mei Lin Huang

Location Manager, Claremont

Mei Lin runs the foothill jobs in Claremont, Diamond Bar and San Antonio Heights, where older slabs and detached garages decide most of the prep.

Luis Arreola in knee pads spreading gray epoxy basecoat with a squeegee across a garage slab under a work light

Luis Arreola

Lead Installer

Luis leads the install crew, mixing every batch, pulling the basecoat and timing the broadcast so the flake lands before the resin skins over.

Trevor Nguyen wearing ear protection and safety glasses guiding a walk-behind diamond grinder with a dust hose across a bare concrete garage floor

Trevor Nguyen

Surface Prep Technician

Trevor runs the diamond grinder and the dust extractor, opening each slab to a CSP 2 to CSP 3 profile and routing out every crack before a drop of resin goes down.

Sandra Pruitt, a silver-haired woman in reading glasses crouching to measure a polished flake garage floor with a laser distance meter

Sandra Pruitt

Estimator and Project Coordinator

Sandra measures the floor, writes the estimate and books the crew, and she is the one who calls the day before to confirm the cure schedule and when the cars can come back.

How Our Team Runs a Floor Job

Sandra measures the floor and Ray or the location manager reads the moisture test before a system is chosen. Trevor then grinds the slab to a CSP 2 to CSP 3 profile, and Luis pulls an 80% to 100% solids basecoat, broadcasts the flake and rolls the UV-stable polyaspartic clear. A two-car flake garage typically takes an estimated 1 to 2 days on site, and a three-car garage an estimated 2 to 3 days. Most polyaspartic floors are ready to park on in an estimated 24 to 36 hours.

What a Floor With Our Team Typically Costs

A two-car garage with a full flake polyaspartic system is estimated at roughly $2,800 to $6,200, and slab condition and square footage move it most. A one-car solid color garage typically runs an estimated $1,500 to $3,600, and a three-car flake garage an estimated $4,200 to $7,200. Commercial floors are bid by section, typically $5,500 to $14,000 for 1,000 to 2,000 sq ft. We take a deposit of no more than 10% or $1,000, whichever is less, under California's home improvement deposit cap.

These figures are estimates for the Riverside area and are subject to change. The written quote Sandra prepares after the moisture test sets the final price and the install schedule, and it depends on the slab, the square footage and the system you choose.

Why Owners Trust the People Behind the Floor

Owners trust a coatings company they can put a face to, and everyone on this page has worked jobs from Canyon Crest garages to Norco horse lots for us rather than for a sub. The owner who reads your moisture test, the technician who grinds your slab and the installer who lays your flake answer to the same schedule. Our 2-year workmanship warranty covers peeling, delamination and hot-tire pickup, and the coating makers' product warranties, typically 5 to 10 years, pass through in writing. You can see the team's finished work in our epoxy floor case studies, including Brian's Yorba Linda three-car garage with no tire marks after a hot summer.

Service Areas Our Location Managers Cover

Each served city has a named manager, so your call reaches someone who knows the slabs there. Danielle covers epoxy flooring in Riverside plus Eastvale floors and Norco barns and garages. Grant covers Villa Park showcase garages and North Tustin ranch homes. Mei Lin covers Claremont slabs and San Antonio Heights foothill homes.

Questions About Our Floor Coating Team

Who will I meet at my free estimate?

Sandra usually measures the floor, and in Villa Park, Yorba Linda or North Tustin it is Grant who follows up with the written quote and the install date.

Does the owner still work on floors?

Yes, Ray still reads every moisture test, including the calcium chloride test that put a moisture barrier primer under Steven's 1960s ranch home floor in Lemon Heights.

Do you use subcontractors?

No, our own crew ground and coated every floor from Monica's new-build garage in Woodcrest to Hector's 3,600 sq ft pick and pack zone in Eastvale.

Who grinds the concrete?

Trevor runs the diamond grinder with a dust extractor, which is how the builder's curing compound came off Monica's Woodcrest slab before any epoxy went down.

How long has the company been in business?

Riverside Epoxy Flooring Group has been coating floors for 12 years and has completed over 1,187 projects.

Who handles commercial and association floors?

Danielle schedules our commercial epoxy flooring jobs, phased around shifts and residents.

What warranty does the team stand behind?

Every floor carries our 2-year workmanship warranty against peeling, delamination and hot-tire pickup, plus the maker's product warranty.
